If you’ve spent any time scrolling through renovation companies online, you already know the problem: everyone says “quality” and “craftsmanship,” and none of it tells you anything. So here’s the plain version. Crown Wardrobes and Kitchens is a Sydney-based joinery and renovation company. We design and build custom kitchens, wardrobes, laundries, bathrooms, shower screens, and garage storage one project, one home, one client at a time. No call centres, no subcontracted guesswork passed off as our own work.
We didn’t get called the best kitchen company in Sydney by accident. It came from finishing what we start, showing up when we say we will, and building things that still look right in ten years, not just on handover day.

There’s a specific kind of trust that comes from someone actually being in your home for weeks at a time. You notice who cleans up after themselves. Who answers your texts. Who tells you the truth about a timeline instead of the version that sounds nicer.
Our Story
Crown started the way most good tradesman-led businesses do, with bespoke joinery in Sydney homes, one cabinet and one wardrobe at a time. Word travels fast when the work's solid, and it wasn't long before clients who loved their new kitchen started asking, "Can you do our bathroom too? Our laundry?" So we grew into it. Deliberately, not overnight.
Today we run full renovation projects across kitchens, wardrobes, bathrooms, laundries, shower screens, and garages. But the DNA hasn't changed; we're still, at heart, a joinery business that measures twice and cuts once.
Our Story
Design is where most renovations go sideways. A kitchen can look stunning in a rendering and still be miserable to cook in awkward triangle between fridge, stove, and sink, not enough bench space near the oven, and a pantry door that clips the fridge door every single time.
We design for how people actually move through a kitchen, not just how it photographs. That's a deceptively hard thing to get right, and honestly, it's the part of the job we care about most. Our designers work through layout, storage, and workflow before a single panel gets cut because fixing a bad layout after installation isn't really fixable. It's a redo.
People sometimes think of us as strictly a wardrobe company in Sydney, and fair enough, wardrobes are where a lot of our clients first find us. Walk-ins, built-ins, sliding door systems that don’t jam after six months. We treat wardrobe storage the same way we treat kitchen storage: it should disappear into daily life, not fight you for space every morning.
But the wardrobe work opened the door to everything else: bathrooms, laundries, garages. Same team, same standards, same attention to the joins nobody else notices but you will, every single day.
Quality custom joinery isn't a marketing phrase for us; it's the actual difference between cabinetry that survives a decade of daily use and flat-pack furniture wearing a nice paint job. We choose materials for how they'll hold up, not just how they'll look in week one. Soft-close hinges that stay soft-close. Benchtops that don't chip the first time you drop a cast-iron pan. Good joinery is mostly invisible. You don't think about a drawer that glides you properly; you only notice the one that sticks.

Our team builds out detailed layouts and 3D visuals so you can see the space before a single wall gets touched. If something's not working, this is where we catch it, not mid-build.
This is where most of the mess and most of the trust happens. We keep sites tidy, keep you informed, and handle the install and finishing with the same care regardless of whether it's a full kitchen or a single wardrobe.
We walk the finished space with you before calling it done. If something's not right, we fix it before we consider the job finished, not after you've moved back in and found the problem yourself.
